Ace Patches and Sophie Aldred Doctor Who Badges Bomber Jacket
Ace is our favourite Doctor Who companion. When I first saw her debut episode Part One of
Dragon fire, originally broadcast on 23 November 1987 I immediately identified with the character. Ace, played by Sophie Aldred, is a teenager from 1980s Perivale. She travelled with the Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) or Professor as she frequently called him until the series original run ended in 1989. Her backstorys a bit of a mystery but we do know that shes very independent. Ace is quite tomboyish and physical. She runs around a lot and beats things up, like the time she single-handedly destroyed one Dalek with a rocket launcher and deactivated another by walloping it with a baseball bat in Remembrance of the Daleks (1988). I do martial arts, so can be relate to that aspect of Ace; and its because I connect so well with the character that I love to cosplay her.Ace is cool and practical, and so is her costume. This Doctor Who Ace Jacket is a facsimile of the jacket that Ace wore in Dragonfire. In the series, Ace is a troubled teenager whom the school expels after she blows the art room. She also has an interest in chemistry, but she fails in it. Further, a time storm sweeps her and transports her to the Iceworld when she is experimenting in her room. She then becomes a waitress at a restaurant in Iceworld. At Iceworld, Ace also meets the Doctor along with his companion. When Doctors companion leaves him, he offers to Ace to be his companion which Ace accepts. Ace is also an expert in chemistry due to which she also creates her bombs. The indicated Sophie Aldred Jacket is a fabrication of parachute leather which also features an inner stitched viscose lining to keep you comfortable. Its specifications feature a rib-knitted collar, rib-knitted cuffs, rib-knitted hemline, multiple logos at the front, and front zip closure; moreover, two pockets at the waist are also present. Ace then also fights various villains under Doctors guidance. Sophie Aldred portrayed the role of Ace.
